The accomplished Kuchipudi Danseuse, Mrs. Shallu Jindal, disciple of Padmabhushans Guru Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy will perform Kuchipudi dance at the Habibullah Hall of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla on the eve of the Independence Day -14th August.
Her recital may include kuchipudi items like Shiva Panchakshara Stuthi (nagendraharaya), Naach Rahi Gauri, Krishna Sabdam, Jab Se Tune Mujhe Deewana Bana Rakha Hai - Sufi and Tarangam with Thaali which is performed by intricate footwork patterns by dancing on the rim of a brass plate and coordinated with complicated rhythmic patterns.

Shallu Jindal an accomplished Kuchipudi danseuse is a disciple of Padma Bhushans Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy. She has performed at several classical dance festivals nationally and internationally. She is the President of OPENSPACE Jindal Foundation for Development and Vice-President of Flag Foundation of India. She is also the Founder President of Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO). She was honoured with the -2nd ‘Aaadhi Aabadi’ Women Achievers Award, 2010- for classical dance by Smt. Girija Vyas, Chairperson, Women Commission.She was conferred with the ‘Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award 2007’ for her outstanding services & achievements in the field of Indian Classical Dance (Kuchipudi) and her contributions through social activities in the field of art & culture, education and community development.
