Default Time to take Bollywood on for stereotyping Christians in films?

It is high time the makers and actors of Indian movies do not make a mockery of the Christian's says the community. They have been potrayed as drunkards, prostitutes, loose characters and even more british than Indian. In the latest Bollywood movie, ‘Kya Super Cool Hai Hum’, a Catholic priest is caricatured and shown in poor light. The movie by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor has a priest solemnizing a wedding of dogs, which makes a mockery of the Christian sacrament of marriage and the faith. An actor dressed in a priest’s robe conducts the marital vows, asking the two dogs to accept each other as husband and wife. Holy Water is also sprinkled by the priest on the dogs.

In another scene, a god man claims to be saying that he had a Last Supper with Jesus Christ, who tells him that the Catholic character’s father in the movie would be reborn as a dog and meet the bitch soon. At the reception of the wedding of the two dogs, they are seen to be in a sexual act and when a call is made to stop them, the priest is shown sprinkling Holy Water, accompanied by unprintable dialogues.
