Rehana Sultan, the Yesteryears bold girl of Bollywood, who is known for her act in movie 'Chetna,' is back on the Bolly street for work after the death of her husband filmmaker B R Ishara. Her debut role in the 1970 acclaimed film Dastak had won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. She is from Bahai community and husband was a Brahmin.

Her husband had given away most of his earnings, was in his last days treated at hospitals with donations from the film fraternity. She had stopped working in movies in 1980's. Her restaurent Seven in Heaven (Andheri) did not do well due to husbands illness.
