Default What is the best way to get started?
I've read a little about Buddhism and it interests me. I would like to get involved however all the information overwhelms me. I was wondering if you have anything that could help me without it being one massive chunk of facts and information and things I should do.

Thanks in advance

Hello Bluebuttercup

Be welcome to BWB!

Here we have some reliable resources at Buddhism for Beginners Forum. On the Four Noble Truths by Tamara Engle and What-is-Buddhism can be good articles to get started.

Hi bluebuttercup, welcome to BWB.

I suggest that first you read 'What is Buddhism," and click on the MP3 at the top of the page to listen as well.

After that you might like to browse the Buddhist Studies section at the Buddhanet site which you can look at in small sections.

(as well as looking at The Four Noble truths link suggested by Esho)

with kind wishes
