Hi Scottish,

I just can say this: I am a Big Fan and Admirer of Noah Levine. Fits perfect with the context with which I work.

We have some threads about him, here in BWB.

Lets see if Aloka can locate them...,

I think he's a few years older than me(i'm 35) and i can kinda relate to him, speaks down to earth and no pretense

I'll have to check out his books.

Watching more of his interviews tonight.

Hi Scot,

It says in the Wiki information that he practises both Theravada and Mahayana. There's also this website:

http://againstthestream.org/

and this one: http://www.dharmapunx.com/

We had a previous thread here at BWB on his video about anger:

Thanks very much the http://againstthestream.org/ site looks really good

I do have anger issues, something i'm not proud of at all, i can bottle things up then at one point go BOOM and i can also fly off the handle very easily

That anger video is very interesting.

Anyone read his books??

When I got interested in Buddhism someone pointed me in the direction of against the stream given my past issues (and some times still ongoing) problems with addiction and yeah mate to use a bit of Scottish colloquialism I have been a right "Heid the Ba'" when it comes to boozing, narcos and punch ups. Its a shame its not an organisation that seems to have a presence hear in the UK as it would be one that would probably suit me down to the ground. Any way cheers for the links everyone most useful.

Previous threads on the website can be found by putting key words or phrases into our 'Search' facility at the top right hand side of the main forums page (the white box) .....which is how I locate things myself.

I ordered Noah Levine's DVD last week 'Meditate and Destroy' - haven't got round to watching it yet. I got it along with some others as they were on special offer through Wisdom Books.

Here's a link to Wisdom Books - they specialise in books etc on Buddhism and related subjects.
