An excelent Book Scottish,

It is about Zen but however is a wonderful introduction into the nature of mind and brings you into the very essence of what the Buddha taught.

Congratulations!

Just a gentle reminder that tradition -specific questions and comments about
Zen practice (rather than general questions and answers about the basic teachings of the Buddha) take place in the Mahayana forum.

Thanks

Hi

I read that book when I first started looking at Buddhism, and ironically found it anything but 'plain and simple', there were far too many long words for my simple brain to deal with. I had another go after a few years and it seemed to make much more sense, but only because I understood some of the concepts.

I hope you enjoy it.

I bought this book on Kaarine's recommendation and found it very eye opening.
