Default I a new member
I have sufferd from bipolar and i have between what is real and not real for 20 years in
my search for truth . I discoverd Budhisms understanting of things about three years
ago . I regected my christion doctrins wicth gave me a free soul instead of living in
fear and pesicution .But my understanding of Budhism comes from 20 years perseption
of trying to understand and exsperencing everything .I would like to know how
Budhism explains events that are happing in the world . I know how i see them .
Dual core unerversil programing in a catch 22 state .

Hello and welcome to the group, Luv22 !

You might like to read the transcript and listen along to the MP3 "What is Buddhism ?" which is a pinned resource at the start of the topic list in our Buddhism for Beginners forum. This might help to give you some understanding about how things happen in the wider world in general.

http://www.dhammasukha.org/Study/Tal...T-MAR03-TS.htm

After that, you could have a look at 'On the Four Noble Truths' which also pinned in the same forum.

With kind wishes,

Aloka-D

I have multy persenal belief system but i have put it,s foundations in Budhism .As it
supports my ideas . I believe in true equalty that caters for all makinds needs .A
coming together of a universal balance Where good and bad evntualy cancel each other
out to become one state of mind in harmony with everything .

Hi Luv22...are you still feeling to be in a Catch 22 situation? First of all...warmly welcome into BWB.
There are no boundaries here...that is guaranteed. Your ideas above are sounding very beautiful. Have a nice time here to discover more how to reach these noble goals. I am not critical to anyone's forum name....but maybe...maybe it is helpful if LUV 22 escapes from Catch 22 by using a new number? The choices we have are unlimited.

I see good and bad in the world but i don,t believe in the concept of evil as a controling opposeing force.
I think it down to a lack of understanding and fear and selfish disires .A little bit of everything good and bad
is exceptable to me as long as no one hurts anyone .

Hi Luv 22.
I can relate partly to what you say. To me good and bad are polarised states and co dependent.
Hopefully synthesis may bring us better balance, if that makes any sense.
A theologian once said "In seeking to become gods we may become less than human."
