Default Issues with "Illusion"
As I'm struggling with the idea of "illusion" a newcomer I'm sure it will not imply that every thing is illusionary in the sense of not existing, apart from as a phantasm or misconception in the toughest possible sense. For instance solipsists think that nothing exists apart from that made by their mind. If we look at 'impression', it appears to me, we require a 'truth' where to connect it to and this involves value judgements. I will see where Buddhism might be a good strategy at the secular level; when it comes to 'truth' rather than 'dream' is this a very individual, user-friendly groping towards some vague type of idealism? Thank you
