I'm here to help provide information to help SMB's with bringing their business online. It just so happens that the company I do work for has a lot of free (and some paid) tools to help out, and their pain point is finding out what exactly is it these SMB's need.
So Susan, what's the most common SMB online marketing pain points? Is it the cost you've incurred without the ROI? Is it the time needed to set up your online presence? Is it the time needed to maintain your online presence? Is it bad relationships you've had with web agencies/consultants? Is it something else? I'd argue that most SMB's don't know how to use Google's advertising well (and can't tell good from bad), or don't have the time to learn and implement them. The effectiveness is also often undervalued. |

I think the pain points will vary for the company.
For many, not knowing their exact ROI on social media is an issue, and makes it hard to validate spending more on online marketing. Many don't have the time or experience to effectively set up and maintain their social media presence. I've spoken to many SMBs who have had bad experiences with agencies, and they're hesitant to dive in again. The list goes on and on. I moved this to the appropriate category to help others find it. |
