http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/...91.WISN?hpt=T2

If it works, no need to replace it

That is a sweet ride. I wonder if she has ever had to have a new paint job or anything? Seems she has gotten the use out of thsoe lifetime warranties though!

That is amazing!

But I have to say- I'd get way too bored to keep the same car around half my life!

You're not a car person. It's different

I once had a VW Polo until it had done 160,000 miles and it was still going when I sold it, wouldn't surprise me if it's still going today, cant beat German cars for reliability!

It's not everyday you hear a 91 year old talk of doing 120 and getting caught doing 92 as well. Awesome

I have only 1600 miles or 2000 kms on my Motorcycle. But, then, I've had it for the past six months and I use it for intra-city travelling so...

Regards,
Richard.

oh? they must ship the rejects to the US. every VW bus i ever saw either had a new engine or needed one and a VW scirocco i had outstripped even the few fords i ever owned for being the most unreliable and costly car to drive that i ever had.

i will say this for german cars: the doors fit tight

the americans have to have different specs on a car......if they had the same specs as the rest of us the cars would last longer

It all depends on how you maintain them. This video is about an American car with 562,000 miles after all

VW's in the USA are made in the USA by VW America, by Americans
