Hello Everybody,

Basically all my life it´s been one of my biggest dreams to visit the Rally Dakar.
But since they moved from Africa to South America this dream became ever more unrealistic than it was before.

However I will make a bike-trip through Peru and Bolivia in January and February next year and that´s my chance to finally see the Dakar.

I will be in the area around Lima and Nazca in the beginning of January. The Dakar will drive through Nazca on January 14th.

Unfortunately I can´t find any detailed information about the exact route or spectator information...
Does anybody maybe have experience with visiting the Dakar and could give em some advice? Are there tickets needed or can I simply try to find a checkpoint the drivers need to drive through? Or is it best to simply visit the Bivac?
