I would imagine Newey or the person in Red Bull who had the final say would be held accountable in that circumstance. If Pirelli issue advice and a recommendation, then they have covered themselves legally. Much like if you or I ran past a wet floor sign and injured ourselves after ignoring clear warnings and advice.
