I don't think there are any true tuggers on the grid but I'll pick the five I regard least.

1. Nakajima
2. Fisichella
3. Kovalainen
4. Grosjean*
5. Alguersuari*

* The latter pair have performed poorly so far but both looked mustard in the lower formulas and have entered F1 without due preparation. I foresee improvement in 2010 if they get the chance.

Seing as every one of those drivers has more driving ability in their farts as I have in my body, I can't offer an opinion.

Nakajima
Kovy - doesn't deserve to drive for McLaren or any of the top teams

Well, this question is strictly based "at the current moment", which means that I can't take into account "theoretical talent", which might be unlocked somewhere in the future. So the answer is:

Nakajima, Buemi, Alguersuari, Grosjean, Kovalainen.

Jaime and Romain are mid-season substitutes. Maybe they will develop into decent drivers, but at the moment they are struggling significantly. Buemi had a couple of promising drives in the beginning of the season, but besides these he hasn't impressed me. I personally feel STR badly needs an experienced driver to unlock the potential of the car more. Throwing unprepared rookies in one after another isn't helping their case at all.

Nakajima isn't that inexperienced any more and clearly we have seen enough of him by now in F1. And is Kovalainen the most underperforming driver in a top team since... Michael Andretti? He might perform better in another environment, but currently we are not seeing it.

2. Alguersuari
3. Nakajima
4. Buemi

I'm a little surprised that Sutil is mentioned.

I think he's a bit of a superstar in the making.

If we had a 5 to watch thread, he would be #1 on my list.

I'm surprised that Fisi appears here on some lists. How soon we've forgotten Spa?
The true effects of the testing ban are plain to see in Fisi's struggles at Ferrari.

Sutil is a superstar? based on what? What has he done to impress some people?

Also, I am surprised some are listing Buemi here. I think he is better than Vettel for example.

3 worst: Grosjean, Nakajima, Alguersuari
The rest all have their moments, but those 3 have done nothing.

I think that the current lineup is one of the strongest there's been for years, I'm not sure I want to add to this. I also rated Piquet and Bourdais (and obviously Massa, though not Badoer). Perhaps if there are 24-26 cars on the grid next year and some proper low budget teams then this will be a bit more meaningful.

I still remember Glock being written off when he made his debut for Jordan oh so very long ago....

probably Nakajima is the weakest in the current grid...too early to comment on Grosjean,Jamie Alguersari though

What kind of superstar is beaten by Fisi?

before commenting on some one else , i just have suggestion that u come and drive in f1. all have worked hard for 10-12 yrs. some may click , some might not . so nowhere we can judge a driver as the worst driver

all have been dedicated . i am happy with that. button clicked after 10 yrs. so please

Fisi's my favourite driver and all, but he's not doing substantially better than Luca now is he, considering the ten years Luca wasn't driving.

Anyway, why do people think Alguersuari is so bad? He's done just as well as Grosjean despite coming from a better formula in GP2.

Let's not forget that it was a car problem that caused him to crash at Suzuka, and he had run as high as 9th in that race. If not for a disappointing quali he would have probably scored a point.

IMO all F1 drivers today are decent, but Haime, Romain and Buemi are prone for idiocy as well as Sutil. Kazuki seems slow.
