I agree that DTM has proven to be a very difficult route of making it into F1. Only Albers has done it in this decade? Besides that, life has shown that it's really difficult to impress against established and experienced touring car drivers, which as a result may also decrease stock. Former F1 drivers Alesi, Häkkinen, Frentzen were all disappointing in DTM - a few race wins all together, but never a realistic title challenge. Besides that Senna would have been offered last year's car - 2008 MB - in which it would have been almost impossible to make a serious impression.

As for comparison between Senna and Piquet Jr. Well, I do think Bruno could prove to be better of the two. He seems kinda calmer and more level-headed than Nelsinho. But I don't quite really expect Senna to become a real top driver in F1 either. Grosjean, Hülkenberg and di Resta are the up-and-comers, who would be most exciting in F1 to see, IMO.
