I will be breaking my F1 virginity by attending this one. I will be camping all week in my brothers friends luxury 3-birth caravan (which is in actual fact only a 2-birth) with plenty of beer, bacon and sausage. Can't wait!

Enjoy it.

Its an assault on all your senses.

Take earplugs. But don't wear them all the time. Let your eardrums getting rattled for a little while.

Maybe we will see Button perform well this weekend in wet conditions. Would be good to see it sunny but a wet race would be more exciting unless your standing in your wellies knee deep in mud. Enjoy the race

Indeed, the forecast has worsened in the last few days, Friday and Sunday looking particularly grim:
XCWeather - Forecast for Silverstone

Remind me, how does Massa usually do in the wet at Silverstone?

Never mind that, he's going to be the eighth winner!

That is precisely why I left him off my pickems even though Ferrari have suggested their new floor, and front wing upgrades are worth .4 secs at Silverstone.

Well, that is a bit shocking, but if you like it...

I'm abit disappointed Lewis didn't remember meeting me after the 2008 British GP and my extensive F1 knowledge when the question was posed to him

I've just dug out the 2008 DVD to watch with my dinner. I might play Dead Or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) to accompany it!

Not a lot to say about practice: Grosjean fastest this morning in a wet session, and now 20 minutes into FP2 only Senna has set a time (2m10.215) as it's pouring down. I feel desperately sorry for the thousands who have made the effort to get there in this weather only to be greeted by an empty track. The FIA need to look at increasing the wet & inter tyre allocation for situations like this, all the teams are preserving tyres as they'll probably need them for the race. Ah well, back to the tennis...

Either live timing isn't working or Rosberg has completed the slowest lap ever at Silverstone. 12:16.143 - will he make into 107%?

I am off to Silverstone for the second time (the first being 2010 when Webber won).

Bit last minute, managed to sell a good number of Brother printers at work to go into a raffle for Grand Prix tickets, and I managed to be successful! Delighted!

Just for the Sunday, which looking at the weather forecast now, seems to be the best of the three days in that respect. I will be in Stowe grandstand, not sure which one, so will be covered up anyway! Can't bloody wait.

Hamilton will win, with both Saubers up at the front battling.

could barely watch either practices. Too dull too much rain. For those who wanted rain, this is what you get.
