The news of the growth of a brand new rallycar with 1600T and 4WD, with a cost around 100 000 pound is great news. Its own thread is deserved by it. The current 4wd vehicles are too costly for many privateers in national and local collection, and the current economic system tells us that finding vendors can get even harder. Once we create, with the target to truly have the new class vehicle ready for 2013 a few companies come in conversation with FIA. They'll base them around a R3T, and put in a common 4wd program, similar to the MaxiRally vehicles in Argentina. An excellent effort, allows hope they succeed!! I've taken this from still another line to provide some figures:
This is very not even close to the subject but WTH. a foundation as I made some hypothetic measurements with the Citroen DS3 R3T. DS3 R3T package, including the 'Racing motor, constructed and bench-tested, prepared to be mounted': 62.000 The gravel kit: 7.800 Donor car: 30.630 (it is the price of a THP 207 Racing which price in Finland without our precious vehicle fees) Assembling of the car: 20.000 62.000 + 7.800 + 30.630 + 20.000 = 100.430 What're unnecessary from the R3T package for the 4WD method are the R3T gearbox and the sturdy body shell with roll cage. The spare part price for a Clio R3 body layer is 7.570 and the spare part price for the gearbox is 9.393.. The extra part cost for the Honda Civic R3 gearbox is 9.000.. Choosing 7.600 as the extra component price for the body shell and 9.000 for the gearbox and assuming a discount when these components are contained in an entire package might create a price of 6.840 for the body shell and 8.100 for both summed 14.940. Basic package for the 4WD = 100.430 - 14.940 = 85.490 The 4WD package I selected from here (article #503) Gearbox: 24 500 Rear diff. : 14 500 Propshaft : 3 250 Rear driveshaft : 950 Human anatomy layer : 23 000 Gravel centre provider construction : 4 200 Rear subframe with hands : 5 300 24.500 + 14.500 + 3.250 + 2*950 + 23.000 + 2*4.200 + 5.300 = 80.850 Often there's a discount' when purchasing a complete package (as you all probably understand what the cost for an automobile would be when it would be build using extra part costs). 4WD package ten percent = 72.765 4WD package two decades = 64.680 4WD package half an hour = 56.595 The 'package discount' for the Honda Civic is ~ 3 months and for the Fiesta R2 ~ half an hour. Adding the fundamental package and the 4WD kit: 85.490 + 72.765 = 158.255 for an entire vehicle 85.490 + 64.680 = 150.170 for an entire vehicle 85.490 + 56.595 = 142.085 for an entire car |
