One of the things that I really feel like I missed out on over at the other place is the singer songwriter forum. I’m not sure how active it was in its heyday, but it basically pretty much disappeared right about the time I was really feeling serious about what I was doing and therefore, was ready to start participating a bit.

I saw a thread in Arts & Letters at the other place, but arts & letters have been separated on unf, so I figured I start this in music. I thought much of what participants shared at the last place was really great stuff, so I’m hoping this thread can sustain itself here.

In addition to sharing work with each other, I’m hoping this thread can provide room for discussion about the writing process itself, technical talk, performance and industry (legal) stuff too. Maybe we can try a topic a week in addition to whatever question may pop up organically?

First: tell me what you’ve been up to.

MyNameIsWarts- did your album come out? The last thing I heard was Matisse.

Kollins- Recently I found I a cover of Meet Ze Monster I must’ve downloaded and not listened to. I listened. I loved it. A lot. What’ve you been up to recently?

Ebby- I was going through my youtube links recently and found you singing on
a roof top on an Irish tv show. What have you been working on?

eendnic- I don’t think I’ve heard anything since the last contest at the other place. Are you still playing?

Anybody else want to tell what’s going on?
