OOh, that is a great tracklist, Brambles! As I was listening to this album the other day I was thinking she should do another ballads collection. (and where is the orchestral version of "Voices"? I need that in my life!) *searches*

Often overlooked/forgotten about but it was one of the few Madonna albums I had when I first got into her music properly, all of which I got from my Dad/ This is his favourite of hers I think.

It really showcases how many great ballads she really did, and this album has some of her best vocal performances.

People seem to hate One More Chance, which I don't get?

I love this album so much. And it gave us "I Want You" ... such a gem. One of my all-time favorite Madonna songs.

When I passed my licensing exam, I bought this album on vinyl. It's a tough-to-find Madonna rarity. I do miss her doing ballads. It really is a specialty of hers.

i'd love it if she did a follow-up ballads collection..i know i posted about this on @ at some point but i have a playlist called Nothing to Forget that is my dream tracklist.

  1. Nothing Fails
  2. Drowned World/Substitute for Love
  3. Paradise (Not For Me)
  4. You Must Love Me
  5. Frozen
  6. Gone
  7. Voices (Orchestral Version)
  8. Has to Be
  9. I Deserve It
  10. Time Stood Still
  11. Miles Away
  12. Power of Goodbye
  13. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You
  14. To Have and Not to Hold

i guess this could potentially still happen at some point, maybe with Masterpiece. i'd love to see her do a ballads/downtempo show/tour when she is finally ready to slow it down, assuming that ever happens.

Great track-list! Just seeing that, makes me believe that I personally prefer her ballads over anything else.

I think this is my favorite Madonna album. I love her dance catalogue, but there is just something so sophisticated, emotional and mature about this album, which I feel she's been missing for a long time. I wish she'd start going more in this direction.
