Montana Fishburne -- aspiring sex tape star and daughter of Laurence Fishburne -- is checking herself into an inpatient facility that specializes in anger management, behavioral problems and mental illnesses ... sources tell TMZ.

We're told the facility is in Southern California and Montana will be there at least 30 days. Sources say part of Montana's stay will be devoted to anger issues, but she'll also undergo diagnostic tests to determine if there are underlying behavioral or mental issues.

Montana is currently awaiting trial for allegedly beating up the ex-girlfriend of her current boyfriend.

Sources say Laurence Fishburne is unaware that Montana has decided to seek help.

Montana's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, could not be reached for comment.

Even if it's a PR move, or a get-back-into-daddy's-good-graces demand, it still sounds like it could be beneficial to her well being. I usually hate institutions like this, but for some reason, to me, she does seem really angry and out of control. She might just need to learn tools to deal with her crazy.

The whole thing that got me were her tweets about how the world created her and little girls are looking up to her. It was like this asinine martyrdom. I SUCKED A COCK FOR YOUR SINS. And honestly, that is the last reason one should be doing that. I've seen that kind of self abuse with drug addicts too, I think these kinds of people need to take some responsiblity for their grown-ass selves.

Of all the "get back at daddy" stunts out there, this one is pretty delusional and counter-intuitive. It will hurt her and tarnish and limit her future goals.
