Does anyone know where I might be able to rent a wheel chair in Sosua or Cabarete or do I have to look in Puerto Plata? and where?? Any idea on rental costs?

Don't know about rental, but there is a company selling some in POP

Temp or permanent? In Puerto Plata there is a place near the big clinic who gave us one for a crippled up haitian who needed one, They said to be sure to give it back when he goes to heaven. PM me and I can dig out the name of the place if you are interested.

Talk to a watchman or some low paid staff....
