I am amazed that there was NO press coverage of this..

According to a friend who was there, there was a full square of people.. a great crowd.. who somehow all found out about through a grapevine.. since there was no organized publicity. And there were no tv cameras, no coverage.

This is an underground scene.. the one that acknowledges that there are some Haitian roots?

It was hardly promoted at all as far as I could tell. I noticed something about it on Facebook a day before, but nothing in the media, as you say. Maybe there were posters/fliers in Santo Domingo? Radio/TV ads? If it was well attended, there must have been some promotion, or maybe Radio Bemba took care of it.

I only saw the promo in local newspapers. Was a great concert, superbe music, Haitian artists, Xiomara and Roldan was all good vibes.
