Default ~ Just a Thought...
~ Just a Thought... {Wouldn't ever compel anyone to anything!}
Just, if every image &/or concept of The Creator {whatever name you wish there, it's cool!}
were perhaps as True as every other image &/or concept conceived of or worshipped by others,
because every aspect & every idiology being simply a facet of a perfect gem-like Actuality,
then all Beliefs are or could be a piece of the Truth.
I just see the Totality, the Creator, as so much more than one view-point.
The Universe & all of existence appears to be quite a bit more than we we can truly understand with our limited senses confined within our physical selves.

Perhaps the 'Big Bang' was not an explosion, but an implosion...
the Creator wanting to realise & experience what existed within.

Perhaps like a mirror that reflected nothing,
It shattered to find reflections of the various pieces of It's self.
{& then when the pieces gather back together, well, It's done.}

... I don't know. Just thoughts.
{Yes... I said 'a thought', but I babble. Sorry.}

I don't think your babbling at all

I believe your thoughts warrant more thoughts.

Personally,I think you hit the nail on the head.

Hi Qryos,

Those thoughts of yours are held by many people.

I have discussed the concept with some of them.

And, of course, the concept you are suggesting would lead to an acceptance of a conscious Creator. And I do not hold to that concept. But ... what I think does not make it any less valuable to you or anyone else.

Peace & Love!

I have had similar thoughts. Religion is meaningless, because all are a small piece of the Truth. Even if you combined all the pieces from all the religions of the world, you would not have the whole of the Truth. JMO

I would have to agree with Rev. Kelly. We are but a small piece of the divine, who knows how many more pieces are still out there.

One of the basic tenets of my spiritual path is: All those with a spiritual path worship the same creative force in the universe. I am an Agnostic Wiccan. I don't believe in an all powerful being(s) controlling the various aspects of our existence. I do believe that we live in a beautiful, magickal world in which our will can effect the strands of fate around us.

Hermana Qryos, every religion has a bit of the Eternal Truth, the great enlightened sons and daughters of mankind have barely raised the veil of Isis. That is why the great Sages of humanity have always taught us to be Humble, for no one could ever hold the Fullness in their hands. You have expressed it in such a magnificent way. Are you by any chance a daughter of Dyonisius, the God of the Mysteries?

~ Well Hermano Luis, if I am it's a mystery to me. {That wouldn't be surprising, huh? }
Thank You!

JimBob, perhaps {yeah, I know, It's another thought... sometimes I'm full of it}
there wasn't a conscious Creator, nothing that Thought the Creation, just sorta ejaculated or sneezed or spoored existence. But that all the itty bitty greatly huge pieces, each individually imbued with that Energy of Creation, strive & seek towards understanding... & through that questing towards enlightenment or connection create the Creator?

... Like I said, just a thought.
{I know, it's been more than just one. But come on! ... }

Hey! At least you are having thoughts. Sometimes I have none.

"strive & seek towards understanding... & through that questing towards enlightenment or connection create the Creator?"

Or perhaps seek a return to Oneness? (Consciously or unconsciously.)

Peace & Love!

I've often thought that - just like the cells of our bodies are living - we could be bits of something much bigger.

Just as it is hard to imagine the consciousness of an insect, how much harder it would be to imagine the conscousness of something much bigger and more complex than we are.

I have often thought this as well.
I even take it so far as to imagine that some of us are white blood cells (helper or "fixer" cells) and others are red blood cells...the ones that carry on the everyday processes of the body. The Red Cells are extremely important to the everyday function of the body and they are plentiful. Sometimes something goes awry though, and White Cells, which are fewer in number, yet very powerful and complex, come rushing toward the Red Cells to either a) fix the red cells or b) destroy them to protect the body.

I couldn't have said it better, Kelly.

There are many Paths up the Mountain, but in the end they all reach the Top.

Eventually, some are more winding than others, and I always liked the winding paths, you see more that way. And most likely better scenery too.
