Those commands were spoken to the Hebrews not to others. That's why even Jews don't need to follow these commands since then.

This is very significant because it implies that these ten laws from God are unchanging and it will never be outdated. Second, if we can see that almost every crimes that we commit - even till this present day - we can relate to the Ten Commandments. There are millions of legislations legislated by parliaments around the world, but (and let's be honest), if only human fully obey the Ten Commandments, than there is no need for so many legislations that are targeted against criminals and law-breakers. Thirdly, it has shown that in some western countries in particular the U.S. and U.K. people were very civilized and crime rates were extremely low (relative to other countries) when their leaders were strong believers in the Ten Commandments. We see the events unfolding in the U.S. and U.K. the crime rates are increasing at exponential rates. Reason - perhaps one of the many but a key one - their national leaders have abundant the Ten Commandments and effective they have - sorry to say this - kicked God out of their court of law. The people are now living like there is no rulers because they have aboundant the Law-Giver, the God of the Bible. The result: state of near-anarchy and the worse is yet to come!
