i think there is alot of similarity between the two.
both are greatly loved by their fans/disciples and once they were gone, they couldnt let go the fact that jesus/elvis was dead.

so now, people make up stories about sighting them, so in the ancient days, people did claimed jesus was resurrected.

same thing as people claimed that elvis presley still live today.

did we see anyone claiming the Bruce Lee is still alive today?
