Don't trample on the religion. Trample on the increasing importation of pop culture into religion around the developed world - particularly for evangelical churches. It's customising religion for humans when it's supposed to be the other way round.

Likewise for the many weird Buddhist and Judaist denominations popular in hollywood and has already gathered a following around the world.

These methods attract the wrong people and hence the wrong mentality that will erode the true core of every religion that engages in these kinda methods.
