Found this on another web site. It's the first I have heard about this. You should head over to ATS and read a thread by Menguard called "Higher light answers" or some such nonsense. It is like reading the mutterings of a monkey who is trying to sound like an intelligent human. That is what the GFL stuff sounds like to me. Having said that...let's suppose that they are true for a moment. Imagine, we are being told that it is out of "love". Do we believe this? That is the scary part. When my dog was having his "surgery" to remove his two friends, the vet enters the room with a soothing voice, telling him it is ok. Reassuring him. Then, after he is reassured and asleep, his genitals are mutilated (yes, i support neutering, but i am trying to humanize the situation here for a moment). Why does this work? Because the dog knows that: 1. humans generally have treated him fairly well, and this is the lady that feeds him 2. he is being reassured and soothed 3. if he wanted to leave or do something about it, he couldn't. remember with number three, it is still easier to "do the job" if he doesn't try to do something about it (thus, we reassure him). The thing is, we are grossly beyond this dog in intelligence. We are tricking him. We are telling him that we come in peace, and then we don't do peaceful things. What would make us think that we are not dogs, being reassured? but, like I said...this GFL stuf is on par with those guys who are tattooing 666 on themselves. |
