Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear in GATE : B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2/Post B.Sc./Post-Diploma) M.Sc/M.A./MCA: Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics / Statistics/Computer applications or equivalent Int M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree (after 10+2 or Diploma): Integrated Master’s degree programs or dual degree programs in Engineering/Technology (five year programme) Int M.E./M.Tech (Post B.Sc): Post-B.Sc Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering/ Technology (four year programme) Professional Society Examinations (equivalent to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch): B.E./B.Tech equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE (AMIE by Institution of Engineers-India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers-India) Application Fee: The application fee is non-refundable General/OBC-NC (male candidates) Rs 1200/-; SC/ST/PD (male candidates) Rs 600/- Female candidates are exempted for application fee GATE 2013 Important Dates GATE online applicant interface (website) opens: 01st September, 2012, Saturday Last date for submission of online application (website closure): 30th September, 2012, Sunday, 23.00 hours Last date for the receipt of printed version of online application at the respective zonal GATE office: 08th October, 2012, Monday Last date for request of change of city: 20th November, 2012, Tuesday Availability of admit card on online application interface: 05th December, 2012, Wednesday GATE-2013 online examination for papers (AR, CE, GG, MA, MT, PH and TF): 20th January, 2013, Sunday, 09.00 hours to 12.00 hours GATE-2013 online examination papers (AE, AG, BT, CH, CY, MN, XE and XL): 20th January, 2013, Sunday, 14.00 hours to 17.00 hours GATE-2013 offline examination papers (CS, ME and PI): 10th February, 2013, Sunday, 09.00 hours to 12.00 hours GATE-2013 offline examination papers (EC, EE and IN): 10th February, 2013, Sunday, 14.00 hours to 17.00 hours Announcement of GATE 2013 results on online applicant interface: 15th March, 2013, Friday, 10.00 hours All The Best....... |

Eligibility Criteria to apply for GATE Scholarship in IIT College : If you are selecting in Graduate Entrance examination conducted by IIT then you are eligible for M.Tech course .
And scholarship will be provided for those candidates who score more then 95 percentile in GATE examination and you have to complete Graduation degree course in Engineering then you are eligible to apply for Post graduate course . But there is no special criteria of age limit but validity of GATE Score card is only Two years . And financial assistance will be given by MHRD and important criterion is to selected in the course of interview then at least 70 % marks then you are eligible for GATE Scholarship in IIT College .
