Well, unlike some of his Euro counterparts he is not a closet anti-Israel, anti-Semite – we at least know where we stand with this depraved piece of flesh and bone. I may be paranoid but I do not trust any of the European leadership, including Di Ropo. Frankly, I don’t trust many in North America, either, with the exception of the few that have openly stated their steadfast support of Israel. None of the latter are presently reside in the White House or his panderers.

A political pundit on TV today stated that Newt’s near obsessive support of Israel could be hazardous to his political wellbeing. Apparently, Israel is only worthy of being a bartering tool in the small mind world of political football.

There are times I feel that most politicians back Israel solely for political expediency. There are those, however, whose support is sincere… the trick is reading between the lines of any politico’s pro-Israel utterances to ascertain the truth. The present Commander-in-Chief comes to mind… insincerity, however, keeps rearing its ugly head.

I have a friend in Israel from Belgium; one, not sole, reason for leaving was the anti-Semitism rooted within Belgium’s political hierarchy.
