I believe its just a ploy, even by the good christians that give cash to some israeli charities, im an extremely sceptical person, but i do know the only reason why some good hearted christians give money to israel is not because they love jews, or they see us as the real victims or they want us to keep our jewish heritage alive,

its not really any of that at all, the real reason why some good christians support israel is because they await the return of the messiah , "their messiah" a bloke called jesus, ever heard of him?

One of my uncles has always been very pro-Israel but certainly not christian, still ain't. He loved to tell about his vacations, the dead sea for his health problem but also night life, culture and so on. On a visit many years ago I took a book from his bookshelf with cover showing Jerusalem. I asked him what that building was (Dome of the Rock). He answered and I instinctly felt that it didn't belong there.
Looking back now from a much wider perspective I know that a gut feeling can be right from the start, even become unchangable. I want it gone, no matter how other christians would like to have their expectations fulfilled.
