Or may be the news does not show it.... CNN did say there are signs for "Free Palestine."

I saw that on CNN. It all looked very civilized and British. Polite people having sandwiches. I only wish I had a hot dog cart there.

It'd better be an 100% organic, free trade hot dog cart with vegan alternatives or they'll tsk tsk you to death.

Every time I come to NY and grab a hot dog off the stand, or a the shishka-bab, I always need to rush to the nearest McDonalds to empty my stomach. Same in Europe... and with all their mad cow thingies....

But not held by Muslims. Since then the other anti-US/Israel protest has arrived from the US embassy to Trafalgar Square and hey presto! Muslims galore carrying Free Palestine and other less salubrious placards.
...with Tony Benn in the midst of it all no doubt.

I was at the protest and especially at the stop the war. There was alot of Muslims there; and people tend to ignore how diverse the Muslim population is in London.
London, like NY has every race of Muslim and each group have their own goals.
If you go to African Muslims, they tend to not be interested in Israel but rather Darfur and Somalia/Ethiopia etc and likewise if you go into Arab communities they focus on Iraq and Palestine - Asian communities, Pakistan/India.

To generalise or even get a consensus on Muslims in UK is damn near impossible which is why Muslims suck at presenting a united front when condemning.
Yes, that is exactly where the Muslims were: at the 'Stop the War' rally; carrying their anti-semitic banners along with the left and shouting hate slogans about Israel. Where they were not was in the second, larger rally which addressed issues like climate change, the economy, globalisation and third world poverty.

I watched three hours non stop coverage from numerous cameras in numerous locations from two different newschannels and the only Muslims I saw were the ones who moved from protesting outside the US embassy to Trafalgar Square to protest against Operation Iraqi Freedom in support of Al Sadr, the Saddam Fedayeen and the rest of the so-called 'resistance' in Iraq. But they were also openly calling for Israel to have a one-State-solution; a Palestinian state.

As to working out what Muslims think by numbers of communities the largest groups; the Pakistani, Indian and Somalis are overwhelmingly anti-Israel, anti-US and pro-Khalifate. The only difference between them is some are active and others are inactive but most who are politically inclined support the same view as the terorrists, they certainly do not support British or US troops.

The small number of Ethiopians and Zimbawbweans are mostly Christian or like Muslim Darfurie refugees from Al Quaida; anti-Islamist.

Muslim diversity does not apply because the smaller groups like Arabs are so small and the disagreements anyway are almost always inter-cultural not political.

The best meal I've ever had in my life: London, 4 am, I think it was McDonalds- bean sticks (that is to say, baked beans packed and battered and deep fried as a stick) with some curry sauce they threw in. Now thats kinda strange for McDonalds. It was a bad day but great night.

BTW, when is Chicago going to start making decent pizza? That caked up goo, is good for nothin.
