This is a "no comment" book. Good and bad don't apply. Both a fantastic read and fantastically wearying. Just browse through it and see for yourself. Many, many layers. Many, many levels of reading. Many, many future re-read. Monumental in many ways, but need to sink in before I can actually say something.

I bought it in Hardcover years ago, but have never pulled it off the shelf for any extended period of time. Have read one of his shorter novels, Loves That Bind, and liked it. Larva is supposed to be Ulysses-like in scope, complexity and difficulty. Ulysses being my favorite novel of all-time. So I really should tackle it.

Please let us know your impressions, etc.
