Default Juan Goytisolo: The Blind Rider
(Original title: Tel?n de boca)

Just finished that book, in German translation (Der Blinde Reiter). The first book of his I've read. I started a different once, but for reasons that elude me, I didn't finish that one and returned it to the library.

And hell am I impressed. I need to reread it and collect my thoughts.
I'll be back. But my tumblerful of vodka is saying the book deserves a thread now. So here you go.

Oh, good, another one to add to the list, thanks for that. Complete-review put me on to him with their A+ rating for The Marx Family Saga, though I read and was also impressed by The Garden of Secrets first; I need to get out of the 90's with him, and this looks like just the ticket (Makbara on the shelf can wait).
