Default Photo gallery
I have just been looking at the photo gallery and am amazed at the quality of photos there. It seems we have some excellent photographers in Gran Alacant. Not me alas, when I look at MY photos I seem to take sloping seas, dismembered heads, heads with palm trees growing from the ears.. well, you get the picture? But the gallery is well worth looking at. It is a pity it seems under used compared with the many members of this great forum. Why not take a look?

Phil ................ As I have an album on the gallery, I am going to be cheeky and assume I am included in your very kind comments !! If you are having problems of trees growing out of your Aunty's head, LOOK AROUND THE VIEWFINDER BEFORE YOU PUSH THE BUTTON ............... Have a quick scan with your eye and think about the background not only your subject. If you are interested, obviously as The Falconer, I am keen on Birds of Prey and I have an online album of my birds or my mates birds. It is at Webshots .......... Webshots is a site where you can download a small programe, and you get access to thousands of peoples pictures. You can only download some of them, but you can then display them as your desktop, screen saver etc. If you are into photos, it is worth a look as some are excellent.

Click:-

http://community.webshots.com/user/cwileman ............... Then click the picture of the Falcon (Erin)

The main webshots site is at:-

Enjoy

Hi Falconer,
Yes, you were included in my comments. The ariel photos are brilliant (although I can't see my place, I'll keep looking).

I actually had a very good camera, a Canon A1..a brilliant work horse, I used to read all the camera magazines, I could develop all my own photos... the trouble was... I couldn't take photos. I would look all round the viewfinder, etc etc... but I just could not point it in the right direction. Oh well, I know where my strengths are not!! I now look at other people's photos.. much better than my own.

regards, Phil

I had quite a few emails from memebers when I mentioned the pictures of the falcons etc. I have just uploaded some more for anyone who gets turned on by raptors !!!

My mate who takes people out on experience falconry days has bought a Golden Eagle and we go out flying off the cliffs of North Devon. He will fly alond side the paragliders and we also have a friendly microlight pilot who takes people up to fly with it.

For those interested, click

and then click the picture of the falcon.

Enjoy
