Vegetarian restaurants - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Friends of ours are coming over to GA and one of them is a vegatarian. Are there any restaurants in the neighbourhood that offer a good variety of vegetarian dishes? (a salad or "verduras a la plancha", will probably be serverd everywhere, so I mean restaurants with a specialized menu)

The one in Torrevieja is indeed excellent .............although I need to be persuaded on the decor!! Great food, good prices and yes it does get busy.

I am a vegetarian and I agree that vegetarians are looked at in a strange light by some Spanish. Meat is KING!

I haven't come across any good veggie food. I'm usually offered salad as a poor alternative... you'd be safe visiting a few of the good pizza places that are around.

Many restaurants in Alicante cook vegetarian paellas : just rice and loads of vegetables , if you give them a call in the morning they will cook that paella just for you
