Does anyone know anything about this. I had a note on my gate to ring a number to make an appointment for an inspection next week. The notice only seems to have been put on the gates of houses which are obviously occupied at the moment. I checked and not all the houses on my road have this notice. This is from The City Council of Santa Pola. Just checking. Thank you.

We completed on our Aurora in June 2005, during a visit in May of this year we had a note put on our door about inspecting the property for a certificate of habitation, the note was left at about 12 houses out of 135 on our phase. We didn't phone and basically forgot about the note, however the following week two representatives from the council came around, we were on the patio and they showed us ID and asked if they could inspect our property. They told us they needed to inspect 2 corner plots and two mid terrace plots to be able to give certificate of habitation to all the properties. This wasn't a problem for us, they were in the house for about 3 minutes.

Thanks Mick. That explains it. We are a corner plot. I will ring on Monday and make appointment.
