The streets in GA have not been swept for months as apparently the contract with the company that did it was not renewed, I have been informed that the new company is due to start street cleaning soon,if anyone knows otherwise please correct me.Also a lot of the rubbbish is advertising flyers that are dumped in piles by letter boxes and then blow about all over the road, we should email the companies such as Lidl and the like and complain

I was out every day last week and saw the street cleaners out and tidying up.
I think it is starting to look better already and they seem to be all over the place cleaning. They wear green and yellow uniforms and appear very conscientious. The piles of adverts from the shops etc. that were beside our post box's disappeared very quickly |

you are right about lidl flyers, but also on puerto marino, we get the likes of gran mundo are tucking their flyers in every gate on the complex, when i go for a walk i usually remove any from gates and deposit in bin, and or pick them up from the streets, if every body did this, the place would be a lot tidier, but i have seen people that are retired and live there just walk past, and they have more time than some one just out for a week..

Puerto Marino is a lot cleaner than other urbanisations, and we residents DO clear away unsightly rubbish and empty the bins - those that are still there! (again the same annoying neighbour knocked the one down outside their house & didn't replace it). Since you spend so little time here - how do you know what goes on in your absence!!! |
