Im thinking of adding a second lock to my door grill and in order to save a bit of cash will do it myself.
has anyone tried doing this themselves and if so is the gate easy to cut in order to install the lock??

sounds difficult without the right tools etc.

i think they stamp the holes at factory.

would be difficult to get a perfect rectangle cut to correct size at this stage, though you may find some type of alternate lock arrangement that might fit.
