well we should be seeing both adu and torres in the 2nd half, however i doubt very much bradley will do that. because he plays favorites.

So I can just go straight home and delete this game from my TiVo sight unseen too?

Nice!

Well, at least the Gold Cup is coming up

brazil leads italy 3-0, us leads egypt 3-0. if these results hold the us will incredibly make it into the semifinals and face spain.

A very improbable scenario, I never thought this would have happened.

This was incredible to watch as it unfolded. As crazy as us scoring 3 goals on Egypt as inept as we looked earlier, the result of Italy not scoring at all against Brazil was even more unexpected. You would think we would not have much chance on Wednesday, but who knows now. This should also give us a nice boost going into the Gold Cup.

Agreed. And I dont want to get silly. As exciting as it was to flip back and forth between the last 20 mins of both games yesterday it is Spain we are playing Wed.

Spain

If we can play at the level we did against Egypt I think we can walk away with our heads up.

Walk away with a win?? God I hope so. But I dont think so.

I think coming out with a semi final berth and at least showing up against Spain, maybe giving them a run, will offer great motivation going into the next year.

if they play the way they did in the first half of the brazil game they probably will. but if they play the way they did yesterday and stay away from the red cards they should be able to keep it respectable. they only lost 1-0 the last time they faced spain.

I think they go up within the first 25 mins 1-0 and Spain ties it up before the half. Spain goes up 2-1 before the 65th minute and the US pushes hard and puts in a valliant effort to equalize but ultimately lose it 2-1.

That feels real to me and I would be pretty happy with that result at this point.

This is a HUGE experience opportunity. Just too bad we could not get South Africa in the semi's

Anybody have a good way to follow this on-line? I wonder if the US wins if E**N will find some way to replay this in Prime Time instead of @ 11.00 PM?
