We can just kill more effectively, eat more, drink more, dispose of more piss and ****, travel farther, move more things faster and farther, increase the range and power of our senses, and communicate longer distances. None of that leads to a more fundamental understanding of existence, matter, the laws of physics, or anything beyond our primitive sensory experience. And we are blind to and are at the mercy of threats that lurk in our own planetary system.

most of us are idiots. Given my understanding of what intelligence and wisdom are, I would have to say that absolutely every human being that has, is, and will ever live is an idiot.
