If this were true why would anyone be gay in a society that kills homos? For laughs?

I'm not saying that people can't be induced into societal behavior if there are great societal benefits at stake but that still doesn't explain why people are the way they are when there is a strong disincentive towards certain societal behavior.

Your objection is that society, a collective or a dictatorship of the prol controls everything?

Therefore, counter-counterculture cannot exist?
