Really now "divided we fall" is the aggregate wisdom of the honorable poll takers? The reason I ask is this seems to run counter to the popular adage "one for all, all for one".
How do you figure? Do you understand the quotation of which you've made a poll? I think not.

Technically, "united we stand, divided we fall" is a claim as to the benefits of unity, whereas "one for all..." is simply a pledge to be united.

Anyhow, the real answer is "United we stand, Delta we fall"

I know what the actual quote is, just pointing out how it's not ridiculous to believe that the other way is correct. It makes some sort of sense.

It can only make sense like that if you don't realise that the first part of each couplet is the activity and the second part the consequence of that activity.
