It's obvious that the CIA guys in charge were republicans who ignored this information hoping that the attack would destroy Obama's reputations. They were probably under a direct order from Dick Cheney.

The kind of ****tards who work for the government are staggeringly stupid, I could never handle working with so many mental midgets.
Intelligence agencies hire very bright people. The DMV hires idiots, the CIA does not.

How do Americans reconcile such apparently obvious errors in judgment and execution? I ask this question sincerely, if anyone can power down their trolling motors for a moment.

For me, the government's old, "Woops we messed up again, sorry!", got old a long time ago. Especially when you're talking about very capable, very well staffed, and very funded agencies like CIA, NSA, etc. The people that work at those places are not stupid.

People working at information police have only two possible ways:
Against their fellow citizens' rights or with no efficiency.
The known solution is to branch said organizations into information services and police/covert operations.
But politicians don't like that.

Yeah, in three weeks (will the stable doors have stopped swinging by then?), they will have full body scanners on the Amsterdam route.

Clearly the terrorists will use that route, instead of the hundreds of other routes without full body scanners...

The real question to be asked is: Does Dick Cheney have shares in the full body scanner company?

I really think you should revise this opinion by now...

Clearly your 'intelligence' is defective!
Clearly you should read a post made after the revelation that the CIA did know about him. That post was my first impression of the situation.
