You would think Oerdin would ecstatic that an aristocratic family that gained political power because a rich father bought their entry seems to finally be dieing out. |

He's dead. He did some good things (if you're a liberal, anyway) and clearly did one very bad thing. Do the good things (which only count if you agree they're good, right?) redeem the bad? I don't know. What I also don't know is why we (or our media, at least) react the way we (they) do when somebody like this dies.
Have we, at long last, no dignity? -Arrian edit: to be clear, I'm not whining about people hating on Teddy Kennedy. I'm whining about people making huge big deals out of politicians and celebs dying (or living, for that mater, I suppose). |
