Is that the first floor that is on the ground floor, or the first floor that is up one flight of stairs?

I get confused.

Don't confuse me even more with you talk of architectural trickery. Next you'll be talking about buildings with no 13th floor.

It's a cruel trick they pull on 1st year graduate students to make them believe that their office might have a window...

They certainly are. Many of my unemployed friends have stopped looking for jobs only after a couple months, citing lack of options or opportunity.

"Youngsters receive a sticker after completing each different activity: if they collect eight, they can take part in a Golden Week of bonus events, such as trips to Blackpool or activity centres. I thought they were supposed to be encouraging youngsters!

And besides Dauphin, I thought you were AQA qualified or something?

Worse than that, I have an Oxford degree in accountancy. I told them I didn't want it, but they gave it me anyway!

It's embarassing.

I already had a good hard earned degree from a venerable institution, why would I want a shitty freebie from Oxford?
