Default I have a mouser!
Cool!

Maybe you can give him an electric blanket or some shredded newspaper to keep warm. Sounds like you have a nice environmentally friendly rodent control system installed!

I'm thinking about setting out a bowl of water down there.

You have a new friend! Make him a sweater using a tube sock.

He's a Pokemon, is why he asks. He's looking for some fellow Pokemons.

Never imagined you could create a show about enslaving animals and forcing them to fight each other in front of large crowds of people and actually have it as a children's show.

we have a 5-6 ft black rat snake, and by the psychological damage to our feline mouser I'd say that snake almost killed kitty.

I though you meant you had a kitty

One of my mom's kitties hated snakes, she would kill any she found

she would also kill mice, but she was really excited if she found a snake

she would just bite off it's head

Actually it reminds me of a non-mainstream dish in China, from the southern regions, called "Tiger Battles Dragon" which is cat meat cooked with snake meat.

And before you ask, most Chinese find it pretty unconventional and a little disturbing too.

Anyone who hurts a kitteh should be shot.
Luckily for the Chinese, they live in China, where the gov't is perfectly happy to do so.

Cats

Cats are awesome mousers. Waay better then snakes.

And our cat would do the same with snakes. He's totally vicious and not-all together well-adjusted to inside kitty life, but he's irreplaceable as a mouser.

The only one better is the older kitty we had who passed away. He was amazing, we fed him nothing during the summer, and he was huge, about 30 pounds. He would simply sit and wait for the mice to come to him.

I agree an actual cat would be a better mouser (and all-around pester -- I've seen their work on insects), but I am mildly allergic cats. Plus, I don't like dealing with litter boxes.

That said, I am planting catnip in patches around the property.

Sloww would never hurt anyone. It's not in his nature. The proof lies with his love of teh kittehs.
