just trying to keep my mind on work. thing is I get distracted easy. and I tend to fall for women easy. I'm trying to avoid these mistakes this time around. And the thing is while I'm much better at talking to women than I was when I was younger, I can't exactly close the deal. There seems to be no tactful way to ask women for sex. So my relationships all end up the same way.

And I forgot to mention I'm a loner. In case that wasn't obvious. Maybe it wasn't. It was something I kinda realized last year, even though I kinda knew it all along. In the past I mainly wanted a gf to impress other people with. I even wanted one just so I could impress you guys. How pathetic am I that I wanted to impress you all. JK. I never really wanted a serious relationship. I prefer to be alone.

care to expand on this topic of discussion? This is an interesting topic. Much better than my original topic. . I'm bored of that already . I'm more interested in the theory that people get worse as they get older.

I can't see how people could get worse than they possible are LOL. Most people tend to improve. They learn to enjoy life more. Occasionally you see people who are just old and nasty, but they were probably nasty when they were younger. Sometimes I see those people and I say to myself, I don't want to end up old and bitter like that. So I do try to take things easy and enjoy life. And not be in a mad rush and miss out on things.

Have I really improved? It's hard to judge myself fairly. I tend to be very hard on myself (as the OP indicates). Perhaps I have improved, and just don't realize it. I feel like the same person I was when I was a teenager, but perhaps I am not. Sure my financial status has improved (and I hear women do go for that), but not enough to warrant any special attention from women. I drive a Toyota Corolla after all (though mainly for environmental reasons). My looks have improved marginally as I had bad skin when I was younger. But I still have crooked teeth, and not much muscle. . Has my personality improved? I really can't judge. I think it may have marginally.

So how about you all? Do you guys feel you have improved since you were a teenager? I'm curious to know.

The real question is can loners have girlfriends? I was under the impression they don't go together. I mentioned this to my brother last chrismtas, and he says he's kind of a loner but he's married, just have to find the right girl who understands you. Is this true? He's not nearly as much of a loner as me though. I kinda do want this girl, but I also like not being nagged or having to deal with women's problems. And women seem to have alot of problems. I'll never figure out why they can't manage their lives. Life seems pretty simple to me. She's mexican btw. And has a 15 year old daughter. I really don't know much more than that though. could be she's just affectionate. I saw her touching a female coworker, and I thought maybe this is the case, and she isn't interested in me after all. She's only touched me on the shoulders and neck (given me a little massage yesterday). and sometimes puts her arm around me briefly (lower back area). So I'm not sure if that means anything. I only hugged her on her birthday, and I also put my arm around her briefly today just to show I might be interested. I figure if she did the same to me, I should be able to do the same to her. But I'm one of those guys who take sexual harrassment videos seriously, and have avoided touching women for the most part (aside from a couple christmas hugs).

well time will tell. If she wants me, she knows where to find me. I have no intention of asking her out. She's forward enough that she can ask me out if she wants me. She definately doesn't seem shy (like I am). I can go either way. I'm happy being alone, but I feel like I might be happy with her as well.
