Happy Feet
My daughter liked the singing and dancing parts, but the eco crap made me sick A Night With the King Great acting, bad directing, great sets, bad directing, great costumes, bad directing... Story of Esther, Modechai, and King Xerxes... I like any movie that brings the bible too life. This is know Ten Commandments, but still better than what they show you in Sunday School. |

The Man Who Wasn't There - Coen brothers film noir that came out a few years ago, just after O Brother Where Art Thou, and completely flopped -- unjustly. It's quite good -- a pretty straight-up recreation of James-Cain style noir, with a suitably twisty plot, a fine cast (Billy Bob Thornto, James Gandolfino, Scarlett Johanson) and gorgeous cinematography.
