Euros love Obama. With Russia going nuts again I wonder if that's in their self interests? I don't know what Obama as pres means for european defense, but McCain would without a doubt reinforce europe and likely forward deploy troops into Poland. Obama on the other hand would likely cut the military to pay for his announced social programs. That means europe might well be on their own without leadership.

Just seems odd to me.
