Yeah, it's a smaller country you see.

But still, your butt hurts pretty bad afterwards, even though the seats were good. Or then it's my princess butt. Now, to sleep!

I wonder if my butt hurts tomorrow as well. I guess we'll find out soon. I will let you guys know.

Misleading.

The longest highway in Alaska is just over 500 miles long.

El Paso-Beaumont is 850 miles, and Brownsville to Dumas is another 850 miles.

So Texas Highways > Alaska Highways.

As far as I can see, Alaska is only the 7th largest state to travel across by road.

CRESCENT CITY-WINTERHAVEN CA (994 miles)

Brownsville-Texline TX (900 miles)

Pineville-Key West FL (866 miles)

Alzada-Yakt MT (749 miles)

Laughlin-Denio NV (710 miles)

Gold Beach-Paradise OR (663 miles)

Homer-Yukon - (654 miles)

I said "by road" not "to drive across" since you can very well drive sled dogs

Alaska is the largest state, not 7th largest.

And even if we ignore that technicality, you can drive from Prudhoe Bay, AK to Homer, AK.

Trip distance: 1162.51 miles Time: 38 hrs 49 mins

It's an awesome butt, does it not deserve to experience everything at least once?

Or, I could drive East to west, pull over in a rest stop on the Mexican Border to doze for a couple hours, and then wake up as an illegal tried to break into the car while I was in it.

I drove from just over the state line near Shreveport to El Paso in one day, about 800 mi. About 750 mi getting to Shreveport the day before (crossing four states) and then about 720 to San Diego (three states).

That's south to north. From El Paso to Texarkana is 815 miles, west to east
