Hey, at least in Rising Sun he wasn't some stereotypical action buff, Murder at 1600 too, both could be called "acting" even by your narrow definition. Hell, the guy was even in those chick-flicks Waiting to Exhale and One Night Stand which were as acting-ish as you can get, not that I've ever seen them or anything though.
